Populate goals for a user so they don’t have to think about this. We can immediately use these goals for the summary reporting.
How:
We populate goals based on industry benchmarks we calculate per niche. When we don't have enough data for an industry benchmark we should show the median value for this metric over the last 6 months (or so) from all connected ad accounts.
When:
As soon as an ad account is connected and a niche is selected, a user can choose to auto populate the goals.
These goals can always be overwritten from within the dashboard.
Where:
We should consider adding a tooltip to explain that the goals are pre-populated based on industry benchmarks for niche X or aggregated median values for the general e-com niche.
